1. Eligibility
The program is open to United States residents age 18 or older. Employees, contractors acting within their paid duties, and self-referrals are not eligible. A referral must be a new prospect not already in Propty's active sales pipeline.
2. Attribution
Submit the referral through the Propty referral form before the prospect creates a paid account. Propty's timestamped referral record controls attribution. If more than one eligible person refers the same prospect, the earliest accepted submission receives the payout.
3. Payout
- An eligible non-customer referrer earns $1,000 after the referred customer completes the first paid billing cycle and remains active.
- An eligible current Propty customer earns $2,000 after the referred customer completes the second paid billing cycle and remains active.
- Payouts are made through Stripe Connect after identity and tax onboarding.
- A payout is reversed or withheld if the qualifying payment is refunded or charged back within 90 days.
4. Conduct
Do not make claims or promises on Propty's behalf, use spam or misleading advertising, bid on Propty trademarks, or impersonate Propty. Referrals must have consent to be contacted.
5. Taxes and records
The referrer is responsible for taxes. Propty may require a Form W-9 and may issue Form 1099-NEC when legally required. Propty keeps the submission, attribution, billing-cycle, eligibility, and payout records used to decide each payment.
6. Changes and termination
Propty may suspend fraud, abuse, duplicate submissions, or violations of these terms. Changes apply prospectively and will be published here with a new version date; an accepted referral remains governed by the version in effect when it was submitted.
