California Consumer Privacy Notice

This notice supplements Propty's general US Privacy Policy and applies specifically to residents of California.
Your Rights Under CCPA + CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100–199.100)

How to Submit a Rights Request
Email hello@getpropty.ai or use our automated form at /legal/us/ca/privacy-rights.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right under this statute.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We require written authorization and may verify the agent's identity and authority.
Right to Appeal
If we deny your request, you may appeal to hello@getpropty.ai. We will respond within 60 days. You may also file a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency.

- Identifiers (name, email, phone, address)
- Commercial information (transactions, billing)
- Internet activity (logs, usage data)
- Geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP)
- Professional information (business name, role)
- Inferences (engagement scores, churn risk for our customers)

- Directly from you (account creation, communications)
- From our customers (when you are their tenant/guest/lead)
- Public sources (business directories, Google Maps)
- Service providers (Stripe, Twilio, Anthropic — see /legal/subprocessors)
Categories of Third Parties
- Subprocessors (see /legal/subprocessors)
- Customers (where you are their data subject and we process as their service provider)
- Legal recipients (court orders, subpoenas)
Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may "share" information for cross-context behavioral advertising only if you have opted in. If you wish to opt out of any sharing, click Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Sensitive Personal Information
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide the Service. You may direct us to limit use of sensitive PI by contacting hello@getpropty.ai.
Retention
We retain personal information for the duration of the customer relationship plus 7 years for tax and contract enforcement purposes, or as otherwise permitted by law.

California consumers have the most stringent privacy rights in the United States. CPRA (effective 2023) added correction rights, sensitive PI restrictions, and the CPPA enforcement agency. Limited private right of action for breach of unencrypted PI.
